Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate cross-functional engineering teams specializing in mechanical and manufacturing engineering to deliver high-quality projects on time and within scope.
• Oversee project scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management to ensure seamless execution of engineering initiatives.
• Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot technical issues, optimize system performance, and implement corrective actions effectively.
• Develop detailed system designs using CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks, ensuring adherence to schematics, GD&T standards, and manufacturing specifications.
• Manage research activities involving data collection, laboratory experiments, and analysis to inform design improvements and innovation strategies.
• Utilize programming languages like Python, C++, MATLAB, and scripting tools for automation, data analysis, and system integration tasks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across manufacturing sectors to align project goals with technical requirements while maintaining compliance with safety standards.
• Supervise the use of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), 3D scanners, and other advanced tools to support mechanical design and system implementation.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning by mentoring team members in systems engineering principles, mechanical knowledge, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in project management within engineering environments involving manufacturing.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and GD&T standards application.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering principles for integrated system design.
• Hands-on laboratory experience with data collection techniques, research methodologies, and data analysis skills.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, MATLAB) for automation and data processing tasks.
• Expertise in systems engineering processes including system design, root cause analysis, and project scheduling.
• Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), 3D scanners, and other advanced manufacturing tools.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate multidisciplinary teams effectively while translating complex technical concepts clearly.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related fields; advanced certifications are a plus. Pay: $125,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
