What they need

Responsibilities

Lead payment system architecture and development.
Oversee payment modules including checkout, routing, settlement, reconciliation, refunds,

and chargebacks.

Ensure system security, reliability, and compliance.
Lead incident response and performance improvements.
Manage, mentor, and grow a 20+ person engineering team.
Own engineering roadmap, SDLC, and delivery.
Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Product, and Business teams.

Requirements

7+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in an Engineering Manager

or leadership role.

Strong experience with Golang, Node.js/TypeScript, PHP, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, APIs, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure.
Solid knowledge of payment processing, card networks, 3DS, fraud detection, and payment security.
Experience managing engineering teams and developing talent.
Strong English communication and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have:

Experience in high-risk industries such as iGaming, crypto, forex, adult, or nutraceuticals.
Experience with PCI-DSS, AML, payment orchestration, AWS/GCP, or Kubernetes.
