About the opportunity

Join a growing technology company focused on helping businesses activate customer data from their data warehouses to deliver personalized marketing experiences. Lead the Customer Studio product, a no-code platform that enables marketers to transform data into actionable insights and campaigns without writing SQL. This is a newly created engineering leadership opportunity to shape product direction, drive technical innovation, and grow a high-performing engineering team.

What you will do

• Lead and develop approximately 4–5 engineers, owning delivery and supporting individual growth.
• Stay hands-on by writing production code, reviewing designs and solving technical problems when the team needs it.
• Own the roadmap for capabilities such as warehouse performance, analytics and experimentation, real-time audience syncing and generative AI workflows.
• Hire engineers, shape candidate evaluation, coach team members and manage performance.
• Improve shipping speed and reliability through observability, proactive issue detection and strong incident management.

What you bring

• 4+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years of formal engineering management.
• Experience building products at a high-growth startup or scale-up, or as a founder.
• Current ability to contribute code directly and make sound architecture and system design decisions.
• Direct ownership of hiring, coaching, career development and performance management.
• Strong communication, product judgment and ownership in a fast-changing environment.

Helpful experience

Data warehouses, SQL, Reverse ETL, customer data platforms, change data capture, analytics, experimentation or generative AI. A strong progression of responsibility and a top-tier computer science education are preferred.

Working arrangements and interview process

Work remotely from the US or Canada during US time zone hours. No required travel; annual offsites are optional. No relocation support. Visa transfers may be supported, subject to eligibility; new visa sponsorship is not offered.

The process includes a recruiter screen, hiring manager discussion, people management and technical interviews, and a past-project walkthrough. Interview stages may be tailored to the candidate.
