Engineering Manager, Customer Trust

For our client, we are seeking a Engineering Manager, Customer Trust to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.

This role will guide two engineering squads responsible for delivering against a defined product roadmap in a customer-facing software environment. You will partner closely with product and design to shape priorities, make thoughtful tradeoff decisions, and ensure the team executes with discipline and accountability. The position also calls for strong technical leadership, talent development, and cross-functional problem solving to help scale engineering practices and outcomes.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $135,000 – $160,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead two squads to deliver against a clear product roadmap
• Establish a high-accountability, high-ownership delivery culture
• Collaborate with product and design to prioritize the roadmap and make tradeoff decisions
• Engage in technical decisions and guide the team toward sound engineering choices
• Attract, grow, and retain strong engineering talent
• Work cross-functionally to identify opportunities and clear blockers
• Contribute to building processes and practices that scale the engineering culture

Qualifications

• 2+ years of engineering management experience leading teams of 6-8+ engineers
• Proven track record of disciplined delivery practices
• Experience managing and developing senior individual contributors
• Background in product engineering with a focus on customer-facing software
• Comfortable in architecture discussions and making informed tradeoff decisions
• Ability to shape product and technical strategy in partnership with a PM
• Strong decision-making skills balancing ambiguity and quality
• Fluency in using AI to enhance work outcomes
