Engineering Manager, Infrastructure (Remote)

For our client, we are seeking a Engineering Manager, Infrastructure (Remote) to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will lead a team of software engineers responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure that supports critical engineering operations. The ideal candidate will balance hands-on technical leadership with people management, helping shape architecture, delivery, and team development in a fast-paced technology environment. You will partner closely with senior leaders to align priorities, drive execution, and ensure the team delivers reliable, high-quality solutions.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $140,000 – $215,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of 3-6 full-stack engineers
• Provide technical guidance and conduct code reviews
• Collaborate with senior leadership on roadmaps and priorities
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions
• Support team culture and individual development
• Participate in hiring and onboarding new engineers
• Contribute to technical decisions and architectural discussions

Qualifications

• US Citizenship or Green Card holder
• 3+ years of people management experience in software engineering
• Extensive hands-on experience in Golang
• Strong experience in TypeScript/JavaScript and modern web technologies
• Familiarity with gRPC and RESTful API development
• Understanding of cloud-native infrastructure and Linux environments
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance workflows
