Engineering Manager (MNC/CNC machining)

Key Responsibilities

• Led manufacturing engineering activities by collaborating with Production, Quality, Maintenance, CNC Programming, Tooling, and Supply Chain teams to achieve quality, delivery, and productivity targets.
• Managed CNC machining process development, including process optimization, fixture design, tooling selection, process validation, and equipment improvement while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Drove continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen to reduce cycle time, improve OEE, enhance first-pass yield, and optimize manufacturing costs.
• Conducted root cause analysis for machining and quality issues using structured problem-solving tools, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions to improve process stability.
• Led and mentored the Manufacturing Engineering team while working closely with customers and suppliers to introduce new machining technologies, automation, and manufacturing best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering within CNC machining or precision manufacturing, with proven leadership experience.
• Strong expertise in CNC machining, CAD/CAM, CNC programming, GD&T, tooling, fixtures, process validation, and manufacturing quality systems.
• Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, ISO 9001/IATF 16949, SPC, PFMEA, Control Plans, and continuous improvement methodologies, supported by strong analytical and project management skills.
