Engineering Manager - Mobile

For our client, we are seeking a Engineering Manager - Mobile to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will lead a mobile engineering team focused on delivering polished, reliable app experiences that serve both end users and internal stakeholders. You will own execution across mobile roadmaps, release processes, and cross-functional delivery while helping scale a high-performing team. The position also requires close partnership with product management, UX design, and backend engineering to ship secure, well-integrated mobile products in a regulated environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $220,000 – $265,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire a team of 3+ mobile engineers, fostering a high-performance culture
• Drive execution of mobile roadmaps for employee and admin product surfaces
• Oversee release engineering practices, including pipeline management and staged rollouts
• Collaborate with product management, UX design, and backend teams for seamless integrations
• Establish mobile observability using tools like Braze and Sentry to track app performance

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading software engineering teams with a focus on mobile app delivery
• Proven experience shipping production iOS, Android, or cross-platform apps across multiple store releases
• Experience managing complex multi-persona mobile applications is a strong plus
• Familiarity with mobile release operations and feature flag management
• Background in fintech or regulated domains is advantageous
