Engineering Manager, Reliability Engineering Flywheel - EDA Infrastructure

For our client, we are seeking a Engineering Manager, Reliability Engineering Flywheel - EDA Infrastructure to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space.

This role will lead reliability engineering efforts that support critical infrastructure and operational processes across the organization. You will shape technical direction, drive execution, and help ensure the systems and platforms behind day-to-day operations are resilient, measurable, and scalable. The position also plays a key cross-functional role with infrastructure, product, and security partners to improve incident response, maintenance practices, and overall platform performance.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $224,000 – $431,250 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead a team and own the roadmap for operational processes and platforms.
• Set technical direction, prioritize work, and guide execution across engineering and operational disciplines.
• Partner with infrastructure, product, and security teams to standardize incident response and maintenance practices.
• Hire and develop engineers and technical leads to strengthen ownership and accountability.
• Align priorities across teams and provide technical leadership during major incidents.

Qualifications

• BS degree or equivalent experience with 10+ years in software engineering or related fields.
• 5+ years of engineering leadership experience managing teams or complex technical programs.
• Familiarity with operational processes and supporting platforms, including roadmap planning and performance metrics.
• Strong technical judgment in software architecture and platform integration.
• Experience developing teams, delivering results, and communicating clearly with diverse stakeholders.
