Engineering Manager (Samut Prakan Province)

About the role

This role involves establishing policies and planning comprehensive maintenance operations for the company, including boilers, mechanical systems, and electrical equipment. The position encompasses project work, design, installation oversight, contractor coordination, and the development of efficient maintenance systems to support production operations.

Key responsibilities

• Establish policies and plan all maintenance management operations for the company in boiler, mechanical, and electrical systems
• Manage projects including design, control of installation, and contractor liaison
• Plan machinery maintenance according to defined schedules
• Plan and oversee maintenance work for damaged or faulty machinery
• Prepare spare parts inventory lists for machinery, electrical equipment, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and related items based on usage rates
• Oversee preventive maintenance work and inspect machinery condition to ensure efficient operation
• Design and develop maintenance systems to support efficient production
• Plan electrical and boiler maintenance to ensure efficient production
• Plan operations to reduce energy consumption and production unit costs
• Oversee installation projects and other factory work to comply with engineering and government standards

About you

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or related field
• Minimum 10-15 years of experience in engineering
• Knowledge of project management and coordination
• Ability to provide technical advice on installation, use, repair, inspection, and testing
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance for tools, machinery, and equipment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to read and write AutoCAD drawings well
• English communication skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing)
