Engineering Officer - Building

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and efficient operation of mechanical systems, including ACMV facilities at FWH, FW Plaza, GICC, Banquet Kitchen, and IT Data Centre.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute both reactive and preventive maintenance activities for building facilities, including Crockfords Hotel & Car Park, CPK, and Warehouse.
• Monitor the productivity of maintenance staff to ensure efficiency and adherence to established standards.
• Oversee the movement of job tickets, closely monitor CNF (Completion Notification) and TECO (Technical Completion) in the SAP system.
• Conduct troubleshooting, report defects, and propose effective repair solutions.
• Attend morning briefings and meetings with users and contractors, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
• Plan and coordinate projects related to building repairs and maintenance, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
• Prepare budget estimation for users, considering the financial aspects of maintenance projects.
• Ensure that all repairs or new projects follow the management of change process and comply with uniform building by laws.
• Ad hoc task as assigned by Engineering Management from time to time

Qualifications:

• Possess a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

• Experience in building maintenance and project coordination.

• Familiarity with SAP or similar maintenance management systems will be an added advantage

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to propose effective repair solutions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with users and contractors.

• Project management experience, including budget preparation and cost control.

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, especially in compliance with uniform building by laws.

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment

• Ability to work effectively under pressure, demonstrating resilience and maintaining composure in challenging situations.

• Ability to create and interpret technical drawings to facilitate maintenance and repair projects effectively.

• Must be willing to be based at Resorts World Genting, Pahang.
