Job Summary

We are looking for an engineering educator who wants to build something new.

This position will teach engineering courses while developing a program that is closely connected to the engineering employers in our community. The goal is to make local engineering workplaces part of how students learn while they are at Paradise Valley Community College. The successful candidate will work with local companies to create meaningful experiences for students and help redesign four courses around those connections. Students might present their work to practicing engineers, work on an industry-based problem, learn in a company facility, or interact with engineers as part of a regular course experience. The possibilities will depend in part on what the successful applicant and our industry partners build together.

This is a good opportunity for someone who enjoys teaching but also wants to build a new kind of student experience, rethinking what an engineering education could look like when the college and the local engineering community are genuinely connected.
