Engineering Opportunities (NPI/Process/ Project/Automation Engineers)

1. NPI Engineer

You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end NPI process for plastic injection molded components and assemblies, from tooling trials through successful transfer to mass production.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage NPI activities for plastic injection molded components and assemblies.
• Plan and execute mold trials including T0, T1 and subsequent trials, as well as IQ, OQ and PQ validation.
• Develop and optimize injection molding parameters and process documentation, including WI and SOP.
• Work closely with tooling, process engineering and QA teams to resolve dimensional, cosmetic and functional issues.
• Identify and mitigate risks during product ramp-up.
• Monitor project timelines and budgets and ensure successful handover to mass production.
• Analyze trial reports, implement corrective actions and drive process improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement based on lessons learned from NPI projects.
• Ensure compliance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements, including ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 and FDA requirements where applicable.
• Provide technical training and support to production engineers and technicians.
• Report quality, process, equipment and material issues to the superior.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

2. Process Engineer

You will be responsible for process development, production readiness, validation and continuous improvement, ensuring manufacturing processes achieve the required quality, yield and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of new projects covering processes, cycle time, production lines, equipment, fixtures and engineering installations.
• Ensure production yield and efficiency meet established targets.
• Establish and implement standardized specifications for post-process equipment and fixtures.
• Lead the design and implementation of fixtures and packaging solutions.
• Support verification, sample approval and new product prototyping activities.
• Troubleshoot mass production anomalies and customer complaints to ensure stable quality and on-time delivery.
• Lead and coordinate DOE, OQ and PQ validation activities.
• Arrange and conduct pre-production training.
• Develop and maintain process documentation including Process Flow, POP, SOP and SAP process routes.
• Establish and maintain product weight requirements.
• Drive continuous process optimization and improvement after mass production.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

3. Project Engineer

You will be responsible for managing NPI projects from initiation through completion, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring project quality, cost, delivery and customer requirements are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage NPI projects including project initiation, planning, implementation, monitoring and closure.
• Establish project teams and develop project management plans covering quality, cost, delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate project team members and monitor project performance.
• Communicate with customers on project management, technical matters and project-related requirements.
• Coordinate the improvement and resolution of major production anomalies related to projects.
• Provide technical and project support to the Business Development team during quotation activities when required.
• Coordinate project resources, project allocation and cross-functional communication.
• Support project department activities including training, performance assessment and target management.
• Ensure project deliverables are completed according to company requirements.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

4. Automation Engineer

You will be responsible for supporting, troubleshooting and continuously improving automated equipment and manufacturing processes to achieve the required product yield, quality and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technical manuals, drawings, models, training documentation, preventive maintenance plans and troubleshooting guides.
• Understand machine operating principles and the impact of component wear and equipment conditions on product quality.
• Analyze software and hardware issues and perform debugging, troubleshooting and corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot motors, drivers, controllers, sensors, robotics, electrical and system components.
• Support and continuously improve automation equipment and processes.
• Work with different types of automation equipment and continuously develop technical expertise.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance, product yield and process quality.
• Prepare accurate and timely technical reports.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

What We Are Looking For

• Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering or related disciplines.
• Relevant experience in medical device, precision manufacturing, injection molding, tooling, automation or manufacturing engineering will be an advantage, position to be determine through interview.
• Candidates with NPI, process validation, project management, automation or continuous improvement experience are encouraged to apply, position to be determine through interview.
• Fresh graduate with relevant internship experience may be considered.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
