Engineering Procurement Manager

Procurement Manager responsible for building and scaling an engineering-focused supply chain for advanced hardware production. This role will source technical components, manage strategic suppliers, support design decisions, establish procurement systems, and ensure compliance with government contracting requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
• 5+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain within hardware manufacturing
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and prints
• Sourcing experience with high-voltage electronics, optics, photonics, lasers, or related technologies
• Government procurement experience
• Experience qualifying suppliers, negotiating NRE/tooling, and managing vendor performance
• Plus: prototype-to-production scaling, FAR/DFARS, CPSR, export controls, or ERP systems such as NetSuite or Costpoint
