Engineering Project Manager

Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Engineering Project Manager to serve as the

primary point of contact between HelioVolta and its clients. The ideal candidate will excel in

communication, coordination, and ensuring client satisfaction by managing project deliverables,

inspections, reporting, and invoicing processes effectively. Additionally, the candidate will have

strong technical acumen to discuss and support any findings noted on deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Relationship Management

o Act as the main liaison for HelioVolta to clients.

o Conduct regular communication with clients, including weekly or biweekly calls,

report review meetings, and any other agreed-upon interactions.

2. Vendor Coordination

o Coordinate with all vendors working on client projects through team calls, emails,

and phone conversations.

o Confirm and promptly communicate schedule updates or changes with other

project delivery team members.

3. Inspection Oversight

o Ensure scheduled inspections are executed on time and meet client expectations.

o Identify and secure resources for inspections, by scheduling field engineering team

members or performing inspections personally.

o Review all inspection reports and request peer reviews as needed.

o Support on-site inspections as needed.

4. Report Management

o Submit completed inspection reports to clients and contractors via SolarGrade,

email, shared folder, or other agreed-upon methods.

o Record and document relevant punchlist information in SolarGrade and resend

reports when necessary.

5. Documentation & Folder Management

o Maintain organized client folders, including project folders, thermal photos, and

client-provided documentation.

o Download and distribute drawings and documentation as needed.

6. Deliverables & Invoicing

o Manage project budgets, gather and approve travel expenses by inspection team

members.

o Notify clients when deliverables are complete and ready for invoicing, support

billing inquiries as needed.

o Submit invoice requests to accounting team, prepare client-specific supporting

documentation when required.

7. Client-Specific Playbook Creation

o Develop and maintain a playbook tailored to the specific needs and requirements of

each client engagement.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. PMP is highly valued.

• Experience with documentation tools and platforms like SolarGrade is preferred

• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work

• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders

• BS engineering or construction management

• Min 3 years relevant experience in the Solar Industry preferably in design, construction or

quality management

• Travel up to 25%
