Engineering Projects Instructor

Job Purpose:

Responsible for developing hands-on engineering workshops and projects combining mechanical engineering, electrical systems, electronics, prototyping, fabrication, and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver practical engineering workshops.

Develop mechanical, electrical, and electronic projects.

Teach participants how to design, build, test, and improve engineering prototypes.

Introduce circuits, sensors, motors, switches, controllers, and electronic components.

Teach basic mechanical systems, structures, mechanisms, gears, and linkages.

Develop interdisciplinary STEM projects.

Support students in building their own engineering prototypes.

Use hand tools and workshop equipment safely.

Support 3D printing and digital fabrication projects where required.

Maintain workshop equipment and ensure safe working conditions.

Develop new engineering challenges and exhibition projects.
