Engineering purchase manager ( pharma & cosmetic Background)

Arrange documents such as equipment specifications, material certificates, calibration certificates, and supplier documentation, wherever applicable. Support procurement requirements related to HVAC, purified water (PW), water for injection (WFI), compressed air, and other critical utilities. Maintain traceability and procurement records for audit purposes. C. Cosmetic Industry Responsibilities Procure manufacturing equipment for creams, lotions, shampoos, gels, face washes, and other cosmetic products. Purchase mixing vessels, homogenizers, storage tanks, filling machines, sealing machines, and labeling machines. Arrange spare parts for pumps, agitators, motors, and packaging equipment. Ensure suitable material compatibility for product-contact parts, such as stainless steel grades and approved seals or gaskets. Coordinate procurement of equipment and materials that support hygiene, cleaning, and contamination-control requiremen

Coordinate supplier visits, technical discussions, and equipment demonstrations when required. E. Cost Control & Budget Management Prepare annual engineering purchase budgets. Compare quotations and negotiate competitive rates. Monitor purchase costs against approved budgets. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety. Track purchase order values, savings, and emergency procurement expenses. F. Inventory & Spare Parts Management Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels for critical engineering spares. Coordinate with Stores and Maintenance teams to prevent stockouts. Monitor slow-moving, obsolete, and excess inventory. Plan procurement according to preventive maintenance schedules. Ensure the availability of critical spares for uninterrupted plant operations. G. Documentation & Compliance

Material specifications and testing requirements, where applicable Production Machinery availability and production requirements Stores Stock availability, receipt, and inventory control Finance & Accounts Budgets, payment terms, invoices, and vendor payments EHS Safety requirements for equipment and materials 3. Daily Responsibilities Review pending purchase requisitions and urgent requirements. Follow up on open purchase orders and delayed deliveries. Obtain and compare vendor quotations. Coordinate technical clarification with Engineering. Track critical spare parts required for breakdown maintenance. Resolve discrepancies in supplied materials and vendor invoices. Update procurement records and report pending orders to management.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
