Job Overview

As an Engineering Site Labourer, you will work closely with our engineers, fitters, and skilled tradespeople to support the assembly, installation, and maintenance of engineering equipment and structures. This is a hands-on, physically active role ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career with Robert Sanderson & Sons.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site preparation, including unloading materials and setting up equipment
• Use hand tools and power tools safely to support assembly and installation tasks
• Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure working environment for all team members
• Help with general site cleanup, waste removal, and maintaining a tidy workspace
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively
• Support other labour duties as assigned by supervisors to keep projects on schedule

Requirements

• Engineering background
• Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn new skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
• Driving licence is essential

Pay rate to be discussed at interview.

Pay: From £1.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 39.0 per week
