Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Engineering Sr. Project Manager to support projects at a biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Ohio . This position will manage engineering, facilities, equipment, infrastructure, and system-change projects from concept through completion.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing capital projects, facility modifications, process equipment installations, construction, commissioning/validation, and engineering projects within a GMP/pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment .

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional engineering projects involving facilities, equipment, utilities, infrastructure, and system changes.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and execution strategies.
• Develop project proposals, business justifications, cost estimates, execution plans, and project documentation.
• Manage capital and expense projects in accordance with site and global standards.
• Lead projects within active manufacturing operations while maintaining safety, quality, and compliance requirements.
• Manage new construction, renovation, facility upgrades, equipment installation, and infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, utilities, maintenance, QA, validation, and other cross-functional teams.
• Oversee contractors, consultants, engineering teams, and third-party resources.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, cash-flow forecasts, and implementation plans.
• Track project progress against schedule, cost, scope, and quality objectives.
• Support commissioning, qualification, and validation activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues involving facilities and equipment.
• Provide regular project updates to management, clients, and stakeholders.
• Lead project teams and ensure successful project execution from concept through completion.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with applicable quality requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Doctorate in Engineering or related technical field with 6+ years of directly related experience; OR
• Master's degree in Engineering or related technical field with 10+ years of directly related experience; OR
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field with 15+ years of directly related experience.
• Strong project management experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, biopharmaceutical, or life sciences manufacturing.
• Experience managing capital and expense projects.
• Experience with facility, equipment, utility, infrastructure, and/or manufacturing projects.
• Experience working in GMP/cGMP-regulated environments.
• Strong experience with project budgets, schedules, cost forecasting, and contractor management.
• Experience with construction, commissioning, qualification, and/or validation.
• Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Must be willing to work 100% onsite in Ohio.
