Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Engineering Staff member to join our team at the Daewoong Pharmaceutical Indonesia facility in Cikarang. This role involves supporting the maintenance and optimization of pharmaceutical manufacturing systems and processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, regulatory compliance knowledge, and the ability to collaborate across departments to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and safety of plant operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, implementing, and updating the Engineering Maintenance Master Plan, facility qualification schedules, and preventive maintenance programs in full compliance with GMP standards.
• Working with technician to execute and support all routine maintenance & trouble shooting of production equipment, facility/utility, GMP building, laboratory equipment as well as Warehouse equipment to ensure all the equipment are efficiently, and strictly in compliance with applicable regulations.
• Apply Right-First-Time (RFT) principles across all engineering tasks, maintenance activities, equipment troubleshooting, and technical documentation.
• Prepare and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), and maintenance logs within the Engineering Department, updating them regularly to reflect regulatory and operational updates.
• Prepare and review equipment deviation & investigation, managing Engineering CAPA (execution & closure), change control documentation, and technical support documentation.
• Monitor the availability of spare parts according to the needs and time allocation.
• Follow up on ongoing or future engineering projects
• Actively participate in the company's HSE system and ISO.
• Review monthly utility energy usage.
• Provide hands-on training and guidance on equipment maintenance, and safety protocols to engineering technicians and operators.
• Perform other engineering and facility tasks assigned by the Engineering Manager.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree on Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in pharmaceutical

• Familiarity with automation systems, utilities (HVAC, purified water, compressed air), and facility engineering

• Ability to read technical drawings, making technical drawings

• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and implement corrective actions.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.

• Good command of English (written and spoken).

• High integrity and compliance mindset.

• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to work in shifts and respond to urgent maintenance needs.

• Willing to be based in Cikarang

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with OSD operations and GMP facilities
• Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice or CPOB, ISO standards, and regulatory compliance (BPOM)
