Engineering Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Supervisor to join the engineering team at Luxent Hotel in Quezon City, Metro Manila. As the Engineering Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the engineering department, ensuring the smooth running of all building systems and equipment. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing

• Supervise and coordinate the work of the engineering team, including technicians and maintenance staff
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to proactively maintain all building systems and equipment
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations
• Manage the department's budget and procure necessary supplies and equipment
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and address any engineering-related concerns
• Provide technical expertise and training to the engineering team
• Maintain detailed records and generate reports on the department's activities

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as an Engineering Supervisor or similar role in the hotel or hospitality industry
• Licensed Electrical Engineering
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to lead and motivate a team of technicians and maintenance staff
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and manuals
• Knowledge of relevant safety and environmental regulations
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
