About the role
The Engineering Team is responsible for preparing all engineering and maintenance operations before a property officially opens.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in setting up engineering systems and equipment before opening
- Support installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Ensure all facilities and equipment are functioning properly and safely
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project teams
- Perform inspections and preventive maintenance checks
- Help maintain engineering records, reports, and documentation
- Support daily engineering operations during the pre-opening period
- Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times
About you
- Experience in engineering, maintenance, or hotel/building operations is preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or air-conditioning systems
- Able to work in a fast-paced pre-opening environment
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Problem-solving attitude and attention to detail
- Willing to work flexible hours if needed
