Engineering Supervisor

Engineering Supervisor leads the Engineering Team consisting of electricians and technicians of Engineering and Maintenance Department. The Engineering Supervisor is accountable and responsible for overseeing the effective preventive and corrective maintenance of all machineries and equipment, ensures compliance with safety regulations and contributes in conceptualization until implementation of innovations or projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversees daily maintenance inspection, monitoring of machine and plant facilities breakdowns to ensure efficiency and safety operation.
• Develop and strictly implement comprehensive preventive maintenance program to preclude unnecessary breakdowns, unscheduled repairs and or replacement.
• Responsible for engineering staff management; ensures employees are properly oriented and trained.
• Ensures good communication is given either verbally or written to all members/staff;
• Ensures that the department complies with regulations and company policies;
• Strictly enforce security and safety procedures including but not limited to Fire Alarm and Detection System, emergency preparedness program, earthquake drills and fire drills.
• Responsible for submitting technical maintenance report requiring repair and or replacement due to machine breakdown.
• Provide support to all manufacturing departments and manage the efficient integration of workflow.
• Control cost to achieve the company budget goals.
• Prepare the project cost estimate and drawings supported by canvass sheets and bids from accredited contractors / suppliers.
• Maintains housekeeping standards to ensure clean and safe workplace.
• Maintains high standard of professional knowledge and conducts oneself in a professional manner that reflects integrity and respect when dealing with suppliers, peers, subordinates, supervisors, customers, and other stakeholders of the company.
