Shift: 08:00–16:00, with the expectation of overtime to meet business needs

About Us

Three Oceans is a leading seafood manufacturer supplying major UK foodservice and retail customers. We are looking for an experienced and proactive Engineering Supervisor to lead our Engineering and Maintenance function across the business.

The Role

You will take a hands-on role within the Engineering team, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance while supporting and supervising the team to keep machinery, equipment and facilities running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the Engineering team and maintenance activities.
• Reporting into senior management team and off-site company engineering manager
• Plan and manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Respond to and prioritise breakdowns to minimise production downtime.
• Assist in scheduling engineering work and staff rotas.
• Managing engineering spares, stock levels and critical components.
• Oversee contractors, permits and external engineering work.
• Carry out and oversee building and facilities maintenance.
• Monitor equipment reliability and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain engineering records, manuals and technical documentation.
• Support site audits, including BRC and customer audits.
• Work closely with Production to improve efficiency and minimise downtime.
• Ensure Engineering activities meet Health & Safety and Food Safety standards.
• Train and mentor apprentices and new Engineering team members.
• Drive continuous improvement across maintenance, reliability and costs.
• Daily reporting into senior management team

About You

• Previous engineering or maintenance experience essential.
• Previous supervisory or team leader experience essential.
• Food manufacturing or FMCG experience desirable.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with planned preventative maintenance.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety and Food Safety requirements.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Reliable, proactive and able to work under pressure.
• Able to work flexibly to meet business needs.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
