Engineering Supervisor

Job Summary

The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for supervising the maintenance, repair, and operational efficiency of company facilities, equipment, utilities, and engineering systems. The role ensures that all facilities and equipment are maintained in good working condition, safety standards are followed, and engineering activities are completed efficiently and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily engineering, maintenance, and repair activities across company facilities and business units.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, air-conditioning, and other utilities.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime and operational disruptions.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and service providers for repairs, installations, and technical projects.
• Monitor maintenance costs, materials, tools, and equipment inventory.
• Ensure compliance with occupational safety standards, building regulations, fire safety requirements, and applicable government regulations.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Prepare maintenance reports, work orders, inspection records, and project updates for management.
• Supervise and evaluate the performance of engineering and maintenance personnel.
• Coordinate with Operations, Purchasing, and other departments to address facility and equipment concerns.
• Recommend improvements to facility operations, energy efficiency, and maintenance procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Licensed Engineer is an advantage, depending on the technical requirements of the position.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in engineering, facilities management, or maintenance operations.
• At least 1–2 years of supervisory experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of building systems, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety regulations.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in preparing technical reports and maintenance documentation.
• Willing to conduct site inspections and travel between company locations as required.

Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php39,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
