Engineering Supervisor – Environmental Regulatory Services

Duties:

• Generate/establish and supply necessary documents as needed by the requesting client.
• Create modules to be used in all related Environmental seminars, trainings, and workshops.
• Organize and train or be a resource speaker in all seminars, trainings, and workshops related to environmental Awareness and Orientation for the entire Robinsons Supermarket banners.
• Support the Environmental Regulatory Services Engineering Manager in terms of technical mandates.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years relevant experience in Environmental Management and compliance, and related field.
• Training: Must have attended the Basic PCO Training Course by DENR-EMB accredited Training Center or Organization, and all other trainings related to Environmental Management and compliance.
• Bachelor of Science Environmental Engineer or any Engineering Course

Preferred Skills/Training/Certifications:

 1. Well-versed in Philippine Environmental Laws and Regulations, including but not limited to:

            a. Presidential Decree (PD) 1586: Establishing an Environmental Impact Statement System

            b. Republic Act (RA) 6969: Toxic Substances and Hazardous and Nuclear Wastes Control Act of 1990

           c. RA 8749: Philippine Clean Air Act of 1999

           d. RA 9003: Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000

           e. RA 9275: Philippine Clean Water Act of 2004

           f. All other relevant Environmental Statutes and Regulations

2. Familiar with Occupational Safety and Health and Environmental Management System.

3. Knowledgeable in facilitating solid waste disposal, hazardous waste including emergency response.

4. Familiarity in facilitating ambient test, Stack Emission Test, water sampling, monitoring sewage

treatment facility.

5. With technical knowledge in Wastewater Engineering design.

6. Knowledge of statistical analysis tools.
