Engineering Surveyor

Roles & Responsibilities

➢ Review project specifications, drawings, and scope of work prior to production
➢ Prepare and monitor fabrication schedules as per project requirements
➢ Coordinate with Production, Engineering, QA/QC, Procurement, and Clients
➢ Review material requisitions and monitor material availability
➢ Monitor fabrication progress and ensure project milestones are achieved
➢ Ensure compliance with client specifications, quality requirements, and inspection hold points
➢ Coordinate outsourced activities such as galvanizing, machining, painting, and heat treatment
➢ Monitor welding activities, fit-up, assembly, and fabrication sequences
➢ Prepare weekly progress reports and update project management on project status
➢ Resolve technical, fabrication, and production-related issues
➢ Monitor drawing revisions, deviations, and change orders
➢ Plan manpower and resources according to project priorities
➢ Coordinate final inspections and delivery schedules
➢ Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company procedures
➢ Support productivity improvements and continuous process enhancement initiatives

Skills

➢ Knowledge of heavy steel and bridge fabrication processes
➢ Ability to read and interpret structural and fabrication drawings
➢ Knowledge of welding procedures and fabrication sequencing
➢ Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications
➢ Strong project planning and coordination skills
➢ Knowledge of QA/QC inspection requirements and hold points
➢ Strong problem-solving and communication skills
➢ Knowledge of HSE requirements and safe working practices
➢ Ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
