Engineering Team Leader

We are looking for an Engineering Manager / Engineering Team Leader to support the development and transformation of an Engineering organization.

The role involves managing and developing a multidisciplinary team of approximately 10 engineers and specialists, while leading initiatives related to organizational development, recruitment, workforce planning, and continuous improvement.

The candidate will play a key role in driving organizational change and insourcing activities, strengthening team performance, and building a high-performing Engineering organization.

The position operates within a demanding, highly regulated and safety-critical environment, where quality, reliability, traceability, and risk management are essential.

This is primarily a leadership, people management, and organizational transformation role, with enough technical understanding to engage effectively with Engineering topics, but without a strong hands-on software development component.

We are looking for a candidate with solid experience in managing multidisciplinary Engineering teams and in building, structuring, or transforming technical organizations.

Strong experience in people management, recruitment, and team development is essential. The ideal candidate should also be comfortable leading change, improving operational performance, and implementing effective ways of working.

Experience within a highly regulated, complex, or safety-critical environment would be a significant advantage.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, a structured and pragmatic mindset, and the ability to engage, develop, and align teams around shared objectives.
