Engineering Technical Lead

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Chubb Korea and Chubb India engineering stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into actionable engineering outcomes.

• Fluent (Able to speak & write) in both Korea and English languages.

• Lead and facilitate requirements elicitation, solution clarification and technical discussions.

• Participate actively in architecture and solution-design discussions, identifying dependencies, risks and implementation considerations.

• Provide hands-on technical leadership and support across design, development, SIT/UAT, deployment and production readiness.

• Act as the onsite communication and coordination point across local stakeholders and distributed engineering teams.

• Support release and deployment planning, environment readiness, cutover and post-deployment stabilization.

• Help establish effective onsite–offshore ways of working and contribute to scaling the initial setup into forward-deployed microsquads.

• Work within applicable Chubb security, data-governance and Korea regulatory controls, including approved boundaries for data access and deployment activities.

Technical skills:

• 10+ years of IT experience with strong hands-on software engineering background, ideally as a Java or .NET Tech Lead / senior engineer, with the ability to operate across application layers.

• Strong understanding of modern application architecture, APIs and integration patterns, microservices and enterprise application development.

• Good understanding of cloud, DevOps/CI-CD, environment management and deployment/release practices.

• Exposure to AI-enabled software engineering / GenAI engineering practices and the ability to operate in an AI-engineering-led pod model.
