  • Utilize precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, scales, and microscopes for product inspection and evaluation.
  • Support calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve testing methods, laboratory equipment, safety practices, and overall lab efficiency.
  • Assist with preventive maintenance activities and contribute to a safe, organized laboratory environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and a hands-on approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with engineers and technicians.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly document and communicate testing observations and results.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Comfortable working in a laboratory and testing environment with various mechanical systems and equipment.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent post-secondary education in Mechanical Technology, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a mechanical testing, laboratory, manufacturing, product development, or engineering support environment.
  • Experience using precision measurement tools and laboratory instrumentation preferred. Experience interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentation preferred.

Why Join Us?

This is an opportunity to work directly with engineers on innovative products, gain exposure to product development and testing, and help deliver solutions that make a real impact.
