This role is critical in supporting the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our hydroelectric generation facilities. We are seeking an individual who brings strong technical expertise, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to both routine and complex maintenance activities within hydroelectric power plants.

As an Engineering Technician Senior assigned to Hydroelectric, you will play a key role in assisting with engineering design, preparing and maintaining technical drawings, specifications, and estimates related to electrical facilities and plant equipment. Your work will directly support hydroelectric maintenance projects, equipment upgrades, regulatory inspections, and capital improvements. Ensuring that all drawings, field changes, and documentation conform to District standards and industry codes will be essential.

You will coordinate closely with field supervisors, operations staff, technicians, and other departments to schedule work, address technical challenges, and provide solutions that maintain operational readiness and reliability of hydroelectric systems.

Our Hydroelectric Department values teamwork, communication, and a commitment to accuracy. Maintaining complete, up-to-date records of plant assets, electrical systems, and maintenance activities is crucial to our long-term operational success. The individual in this role will contribute directly to that mission through diligent documentation, technical guidance, and field support.
