Engineers Assistant

Tomtech (UK) Ltd is the market-leading manufacturer of horticulture control systems and we are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team in the role of Engineers Assistant.

The successful candidate will be technically minded, a quick learner with an interest in engineering and ideally be based in Lincolnshire. The work is throughout Great Britain and Ireland and involves working away during the week.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Full UK driving license
• Ability to work individually, under own initiative and as part of a team
• Able to use basic hand and power tools
• Competent to work at heights and using ladders.

The job involves installing climate control systems in the greenhouses, servicing and repairs.

This is a permanent position.

Standard working hours are 8.30am - 5pm Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week plus overtime as required. Whilst working away the company provides accommodation, food allowance and a payment for staying over night. There is also an additional payment for working weekends.

Training on Tomtech products will be provided.

20 days holidays excluding bank and public holidays. This increases by an extra day per year of employment to a maximum of 25 days holiday. (Plus bank and public holidays).
