EP Manufacturing Berhad is a Bursa Malaysia-listed group with businesses in automotive manufacturing and industrial operations. We are launching a major new project in Alor Gajah, Melaka and are building a strong engineering team to deliver it from planning and setup through to full operation.

This is a rare chance to be part of a large-scale project day one. You may be based in either Shah Alam or Melaka and candidates living in Melaka are welcomed to apply.

Key Responsibilities

All roles

• Support the planning, setup and preparation of the new facility and coordinate with contractors, suppliers and internal teams.
• Work to project schedules and follow up on issues to keep milestones on track.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards.

Project Engineer

• Plan. track and coordinate project schedules, budgets and deliverables.
• Manage contractors and suppliers and report progress to management.

Quality Engineer

• Prepare quality standards, inspection procedures and control plans.
• Carry out quality checks during trials and lead corrective actions on defects.

Process Engineer

• Develop, validate and improve manufacturing processes and parameters.
• Troubleshoot process issues to meet quality and productivity targets.

Production Engineer

• Prepare production readiness, including work procedures, manpower planning and line trials.
• Support the ramp-up to stable production outpout.

Maintenance Engineer

• Set up maintenance plans, spare parts lists and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Take over equipment after commissioning and keep downtime low.

Electrical Engineer

• Support electrical installation, controls and atuomation (PLC).
• Test and commission electrical systems and troubleshoot faults.

Mechanical Engineer

• Support equipment layout, installation and mechanical integration.
• Check mechanical works against drawings and specifications during commissioning.

Utilities Engineer

• Plan and support utilities such as power, compressed air, water, ventilation and not wastewater systems.
• Ensure utilities are installed, tested and ready to meet production needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Manufacturing, Industrial or related field).
• Experience in automotive, manufacturing or industrial environment is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates with a strong interest in manufacturing are encouraged to apply.
• Must be willing to travel regularly between Shah Alam, Alor Gajah and other project sites as required.
• Proactive, hands-on and willing to learn in a fast-moving project environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, coordination and communication skills.

Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage.
