Engineer/Senior Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Knowledge in any Transmission aggregates like Gear box, Rear axle, clutch, propeller shaft etc.
• Experience in preparing Gearbox or axle layout, Clutch actuation or Gear shift layout.
• Experience in preparing 3D modeling, 2D drawing in CATIA V5 or any other equivalent software is must. Knowledge of working on Autocad is of added advantage.
• Understanding of DFMEA, APQP etc. & working experience.
• GD&T knowledge, applying it on drawing
• DVP preparation & Testing requirement finalisation for any part or assembly
• Field issues analysis & finding solution for the same.
• Design analysis for Transmission components.
• Knowledge in Gear calculation & analysis. Knowledge of working on softwares like Romax, MASTA etc.
• Work experience on PLM
• Basic understanding of machining of components like casting, forging etc.
