We are seeking a passionate and energetic English Instructor to join our vibrant Afterschool Program (ages 5-9). Duties

• Design and deliver engaging English lessons that cater to students’ varying proficiency levels and learning styles
• Create a lively classroom atmosphere that motivates students to participate actively in language activities
• Incorporate multimedia resources, games, and interactive exercises to enhance language acquisition
• Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve their speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans aligned with educational standards and program goals
• Monitor student progress through assessments and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
• Foster a safe, inclusive environment that respects diverse cultural backgrounds and promotes positive social interactions

Requirements

• Proven experience working with children in an educational or tutoring setting, preferably in classroom environments
• Strong command of English; native-speaker would be ideal.
• Excellent writing skills for creating lesson plans, instructional materials, and student assessments
• Demonstrated ability to engage young learners through creative teaching methods and classroom management skills
• Knowledge of language teaching techniques and familiarity with curriculum development
• Multilingual abilities (Mandarin, French, Spanish, Japanese) are a plus for supporting diverse student populations
• Prior tutoring or classroom experience in an afterschool setting is preferred
