English Writer - Editor (Open for Expat)

The Company owns and operates the largest integrated gaming and entertainment resort in the Mekong Region. The Company filed for its initial public offering ("IPO") on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange ("HKSE") in 2006, making it the first gaming company listed on the HKSE and the first Cambodia-based company listed on a foreign stock exchange.

Job Summary:

Responsible for generating content for the company’s collaterals, social media platforms and other marketing platforms required.

General Job Functions:

• Researches, develops, writes, proofreads and edits compelling content in a clear and concise manner for but not limited to advertising campaigns, marketing collaterals, scripts, video captions, social media, press releases, advertorials and websites for various departments such as Hotel, FNB, Spa, Nightlife, Gaming, etc
• Works closely with departments to interpret the briefs and creates concepts and writings to meet the objectives
• Writes, edits and proofreads content provided to ensure there are no errors and a consistent brand voice for the company across all platforms
• Creates, audits, and revises messaging regularly for consistency, simplicity and performance
• Press release writing for campaigns, events and promotions
• Conceives and develops marketing concepts and advertising campaigns, from brief to completion
• Works with the Creative department to explore different ideas and develops the content for advertising campaigns
• Any other duties assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field
• Minimum of 3-year experience in copy and content writing for lifestyle magazines, newspapers (lifestyle section), advertising agencies, and corporate or freelance work experience
• Able to work effectively in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines
• Detail-oriented and meticulous, with a strong sense of responsibility
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Positive attitude with good problem-solving skills
• Flexible writing style with the ability to critically review own work
• Able to multitask and work independently as well as in a team
• Good understanding of current industry trends, with knowledge of marketing and communications
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PPT, Word, and Outlook
• English Language proficiency and Mandarin Language proficiency is a plus
