Duties

• Design and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards for English language arts and mathematics.
• Incorporate various learning technologies and digital tools to enhance instruction and student engagement.
• Provide tutoring support in science, SAT preparation, English language arts, and mathematics to help students achieve their academic goals.
• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and special education needs, ensuring inclusive classroom experiences.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a respectful, positive environment conducive to learning.
• Assess student progress regularly through assignments, tests, and informal evaluations; provide constructive feedback to support improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and caregivers to develop individualized learning plans that address each student’s unique needs.

Skills

• Strong expertise in curriculum development for English language arts and mathematics.
