We're looking for an experienced Enrolled Agent (EA) who wants to become part of a close-knit team—not just another employee in a large accounting firm. Position Overview

As an Enrolled Agent, you will work directly with individuals and small business owners throughout Arizona and across the United States. You'll prepare tax returns, represent clients before the IRS, provide proactive tax planning, and help clients navigate complex tax matters with confidence.

Unlike larger firms where work is highly specialized, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of tax engagements and build meaningful, long-term relationships with your clients.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and review individual, partnership, S Corporation, C Corporation, fiduciary, and nonprofit tax returns.
• Represent clients before the IRS regarding notices, audits, payment plans, and collections.
• Provide year-round tax planning and advisory services to help clients minimize taxes and make informed financial decisions.
• Review financial statements, bookkeeping records, and accounting data for tax preparation.
• Assist clients with business formation, entity elections, payroll tax matters, and IRS compliance.
• Research federal and state tax issues and communicate practical solutions to clients.
• Work closely with our bookkeeping and payroll team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Build long-term relationships by providing exceptional customer service and responsive communication.

What We're Looking For

• Active Enrolled Agent (EA) credential in good standing.
• At least 3 years of tax preparation experience in public accounting or a tax-focused practice.
• Strong knowledge of federal and Arizona tax laws.
• Experience preparing business and individual tax returns.
• Comfortable representing taxpayers before the IRS.
• Experience using professional tax software (Drake Tax experience is a plus).
• Familiarity with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex tax topics in a simple, client-friendly manner.
• A positive attitude and willingness to be a team player.
