What they need

Company Overview

Crestmont University is an accredited institution dedicated to providing flexible, fully online higher education programs. We offer a wide range of degrees, including Associate’s, Bachelor’s, Master’s (MBA), and Doctorate (DBA), designed to foster critical thinking, practical research skills, and real-world problem-solving for students worldwide.

Enrollment Specialist

The Enrollment Specialist is responsible for actively sourcing, qualifying, and converting the university’s global prospective student pipeline. Unlike traditional domestic admissions roles that rely entirely on inbound marketing leads, this position is a proactive, outbound-driven function focused on cold and warm lead generation, multi-channel territory cultivation, and immediate cross-cultural qualification. Utilizing deep regional competence and bilingual agility, the Enrollment Specialist independently sources international inquiries, conducts baseline structural eligibility screenings of non-US academic systems, and guides global prospects through the front-end conversion funnel to meet institutional enrollment goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Independently research, identify, and exploit new lead acquisition channels within assigned international territories to build a high-volume prospective student pipeline from scratch.
  • Execute rapid, high-frequency multi-channel outreach workflows (phone, email, messaging) for both sourced leads and international inquiries, driving them immediately toward application submission.
  • Act as the primary gatekeeper for non-US academic backgrounds, independently evaluating and interpreting international transcripts, grading scales, and regional secondary education systems to determine immediate baseline eligibility.
  • Navigate and manage prospective international students through the entire front-end enrollment funnel, effectively overcoming complex cross-cultural objections to convert raw leads into registered students.
  • Cultivate and maintain ongoing relationship pipelines with global inquiries, leveraging localized communication nuances to establish rapid brand trust within target international markets.
  • Translate, tailor, and deliver persuasive institutional recruitment messaging to overcome regional linguistic barriers and maximize conversion metrics among non-native English speakers.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze regional performance metrics within assigned territories to discover, evaluate, and test emerging third-party platforms and lead-generation networks.
  • Coordinate, spearhead, and present at virtual international student fairs, global informational webinars, and regional educational networks to source high-volume lead blocks.
  • Maintain meticulous, real-time data integrity of international leads within the university’s tracking database, segmenting pipelines to maximize daily outbound dials and territory efficiency.
  • Other duties assigned

The minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Marketing, Cross-Cultural Communications, Business Administration, or a closely related field (or equivalent specialized experience in international talent acquisition).
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of proven, metrics-driven experience in international higher education outbound lead generation, overseas market sourcing, or high-volume cross-border sales operations.
  • Native or professional bilingual/multilingual proficiency, paired with exceptional persuasive written and verbal English communication skills specifically tailored to navigate global audiences.
  • Demonstrated capability to independently read, evaluate, and interpret international grading scales, foreign transcripts, and diverse non-US secondary educational benchmarks for immediate programmatic placement.
  • Proven capability to work with high autonomy within an international remote environment, consistently hitting aggressive outbound sourcing targets, performance KPIs, and regional enrollment strategies.
