Enterprise Application Functional Consultant (SAP MM/WM/SD)

Job Scope:

1. Analyze business requirements, design solutions, conduct fit-gap analysis, configure systems, and optimize MM/WM processes in SAP S/4HANA to align with organizational goals.

2. Oversee and support material, inventory, and warehouse management processes, including resolving issues to ensure stock data accuracy and operational compliance with SLA.

3. Support SAP S/4HANA implementation, upgrade, and development projects, covering everything from design, documentation, and system testing to user training and handover.

4. Coordinate with business units, the ABAP team, the IT team, and external service providers, and perform other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Analyze and gather business requirements; conduct Fit-Gap analysis; design, configure, and optimize processes within SAP S/4HANA (MM/WM modules), including integration with SD and related systems.
2. Manage and support inventory operations—including Goods Receipt, Goods Issue, Transfer Posting, Physical Inventory, and Stock Adjustment—while analyzing and resolving stock data discrepancies.
3. Design and configure warehouse structures in SAP (e.g., Warehouse Number, Storage Type, Storage Section, and Storage Bin) to align with operational needs.
4. Manage goods storage and movement processes, including Put-away, Picking, Transfer Requirement (TR), Transfer Order (TO), Stock Transfer, and Bin-to-Bin Transfer.
5. Analyze and improve procurement, warehouse, and inventory processes—including MM/WM integration with SD, FI, and PP—to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.
6. Prepare Functional Specifications, Configuration Documents, Process Flows, Test Scripts, and other system documentation in accordance with IT development standards.
7. Coordinate with the development team (ABAP) and relevant departments on system design, development, testing (SIT/UAT), issue resolution, and go-live support.
8. Create user manuals and conduct training for End Users and Key Users to ensure correct and efficient system usage.
9. Provide incident support, handle Change Requests, support SAP S/4HANA projects to ensure completion according to plans and SLA and perform other assigned tasks.

Additional Responsibilities:

1. Work under the supervision of the Enterprise Application Services Division Manager and report progress according to the project plan.
2. Oversee document quality, system change control, and compliance with the company's IT standards.
3. Share knowledge and provide support to users or team members as assigned; the role does not involve direct supervision of subordinates.

Job Specifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
2. At least 3–5 years of experience with SAP S/4HANA modules (MM/WM/SD) and knowledge of warehouse and inventory management.
3. Possess experience in at least one SAP implementation project, covering analysis, design, configuration, testing, and go-live.
4. Prior supervisory experience is not required; however, experience as a Functional Lead or Workstream Lead will be considered an advantage.
5. SAP Certification in S/4HANA MM/WM/EWM or related courses (candidates with such certification/training will be given special consideration).
6. Knowledge of SAP Activate, ITIL, or Project Management (if applicable)
7. Proficient in using MS Office and tools for document preparation and data analysis.
8. Understanding of Change Control, access rights, and IT compliance requirements.
9. Good English proficiency; able to read SAP documentation and communicate effectively regarding work tasks.
10. Understanding of quality, environmental, and safety systems relevant to warehouse operations.
