- Follow established governance and change management standards, and escalate requests involving security policy, Conditional Access, DLP, tenant-level settings, new environments, or vendor and licensing decisions to the Manager.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve failures in automated file transfers and integrations (e.g., scheduled jobs, bank and ERP file flows), communicating status to affected stakeholders.
- Perform routine maintenance of automation and integration platforms, including updates, upgrades, and testing in non-production environments, coordinating with infrastructure teams through the change management process.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd tier support for all Help Desk escalated issues, and triage access and service requests received through ServiceNow and the Enterprise Applications support channel.
- Partner with business users to provide application training and support and to participate in business process discussions.
- Design, build, test, and maintain scripts and automations (e.g., PowerShell, SQL, Power Automate) following established standards.
- Analyze and propose improvements to business processes, system performance, and data integrity, focusing on reducing manual processes and increasing automation.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including runbooks, system and data-source inventories, integration inventories, service account and credential change procedures, and change records.
- Ensure the uptime and operation of internal systems and services. Coordinate with other IT teams and business units to address and resolve problems in alignment with business needs and goals.
- Support periodic access reviews and evidence requests for IT general controls and audit activities.
- Participate in the testing and evaluation of new tools and in projects as assigned, contributing to planning, analysis, documentation, and implementation.
- Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performance.
- Mentor and train fellow systems engineers, providing on-the-job support and acting as a positive role model.
- Provide after-hours support as needed.
