Enterprise Architect

Role: Enterprise Architect Location: Remote

• Define and maintain enterprise architecture standards, frameworks, and governance practices.
• Design end-to-end healthcare solutions aligned with business and clinical objectives.
• Lead architecture reviews and provide technology recommendations.
• Develop and maintain healthcare technology roadmaps and modernization strategies.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, HITECH, CMS, and other industry standards.
• Architect solutions supporting interoperability standards including HL7, FHIR, X12, and DICOM.
• Collaborate with application, data, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Drive cloud adoption and digital transformation initiatives leveraging AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their impact on healthcare operations.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and healthcare system integration projects.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to architecture and engineering teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
• 12+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in Enterprise Architecture.
• Strong experience in healthcare payer, provider, or life sciences environments.
• Deep understanding of healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, X12, CDA, DICOM).
• Experience with Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.
• Expertise in cloud architecture, microservices, APIs, and integration platforms.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare data management, security, and privacy regulations.
• Experience with EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, or Meditech.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
