Role Summary:-

Lead the end-to-end enterprise architecture for a composable Order Management System (OMS) platform. Act as the architectural bridge between business, technology, and product/implementation teams, translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:-

• Define and govern end-to-end architecture across OMS, microservices, integrations, and downstream systems.
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Design OMS extension services using cloud-native, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
• Assess and recommend out-of-the-box configuration versus custom development , minimizing unnecessary customization.
• Define architecture standards, integration patterns, coding guidelines, and governance processes.
• Lead architecture workshops, solution reviews, and technical decision-making with business and technical stakeholders.
• Define non-functional requirements covering scalability, performance, security, resiliency, latency, and cost.
• Support scope definition, effort estimation, delivery roadmaps, milestones, and phased implementation plans.
• Review solution designs, integration approaches, and technical trade-offs.
• Establish CI/CD, observability, architecture governance, and Agile delivery standards.
• Provide architectural guidance for production support, complex incident resolution, and continuous improvement.

Skills & Requirements:-

Mandatory

• 12+ years of overall technology experience.
• At least 3–4 years of architecture, solutioning, or technical leadership ownership .
• Strong hands-on and architectural experience with Order Management Systems (OMS) .
• Strong knowledge of order lifecycle, inventory, allocation, fulfillment, orchestration, and returns.
• Experience with Java/J2EE, microservices, REST APIs, event-driven architecture, and integration patterns .
• Experience designing custom microservices and extension points for enterprise or commercial platforms.
• Strong cloud architecture experience, preferably AWS .
• Experience in client-facing architecture and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work across business and technical teams.

Preferred

• Experience with Burgeon OMS or other standalone/composable OMS platforms.
• Experience with OMS capabilities within ERP platforms.
• Knowledge of integrations with WMS, payment platforms, PLM, loyalty systems, promotions, and recommendation platforms .
• AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, Kinesis, CloudWatch, S3, and Secrets Manager .
• Experience with serverless, containerized, and cloud-based architectures.
• Knowledge of observability tools such as New Relic, Datadog, Grafana, or Splunk .
• Experience with CI/CD, Agile delivery, architecture governance, and L3 production support.
