Enterprise IT Support Engineer

Nexnad Solution Sdn Bhd is seeking a hands-on Enterprise IT Support Engineer to join our technical team. You will play a key role in supporting and maintaining enterprise IT environments, including servers, networking, firewalls, Linux systems, and related infrastructure.

This position is ideal for candidates with 2–3 years of practical enterprise IT experience who enjoy troubleshooting, system support, and working in mission-critical customer environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for enterprise IT infrastructure and systems.
• Install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot physical and virtual servers.
• Support both Windows Server and Linux-based environments.
• Monitor server health, performance, storage, services, and system logs.
• Perform Linux administration and troubleshooting using command-line tools.
• Support enterprise LAN/WAN and TCP/IP networking environments.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, routing, VLAN, DNS, and related network issues.
• Configure and troubleshoot firewalls and network security.
• Conduct system health checks and identify potential infrastructure issues.
• Support backup, restoration, and disaster recovery activities.
• Assist with system patching, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
• Perform root-cause analysis for system incidents.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, and technical teams for issue resolution.
• Maintain technical documentation, incident records, and service reports.
• Participate in onsite technical support and project implementation when required.

Requirement:

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or related fields.

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant hands-on experience in enterprise IT infrastructure or technical support.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

• Comfortable working with both Windows and Linux environments.

• Good understanding of enterprise networking and firewall concepts.

• Ability to work independently and escalate issues when required.

• Strong communication and documentation skills.

• Willingness to work onsite at customer locations when required.

• Eagerness to learn new technologies and take ownership of technical issues.

• Team-oriented mindset with discipline in troubleshooting.

• Knowledge of Oracle Database will be considered an added advantage.
