Enterprise Network Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated L1 Enterprise Network Engineer to join our Location network team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting network issues, field support, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. You will work closely with senior engineers to resolve more complex issues and provide support to ensure seamless network operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Network Monitoring: Continuously monitor network performance to ensure system availability and also maintain uptime of Location enterprise N/W.

• Troubleshooting: Provide Level-1 support and troubleshooting with local FSE for network (LAN & Wi-Fi) issues, coordinating with vendors and escalating to higher levels when necessary to resolve the issue.

• Configuration: Configuring and installing network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches and AP & LAN).

• Maintenance: Perform routine network maintenance and system upgrades, including IOS upgrade, patches for network devices and LAN maintenance related activities (new LAN project, existing dressing and maintenance).

• Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of daily IT tickets and network devise configurations, changes, and issues.

• Support: Physically support (network device installation in Rack and faulty removal and if require coordinate with RMA replacement for all our remote locations.

• Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, ECE or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum 2-year experience in network support or a similar role.

• Skills:

• Basic understanding of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Routing, Switching, & wireless network).

• Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Certifications: CCNA or equivalent certification is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with enterprise network environments.
• Knowledge of various OEM routers and switches (CISCO, Brocade, HPE and juniper) as well as security practices and tools.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
