About the Role

The ERP Developer will provide application development, technical management, and ongoing support for the client's ERP environment. This role requires specialized knowledge of ERP architecture, development tools, integrations, and enterprise applications. The consultant will develop and maintain application code and interfaces, implement system modifications, support daily processing, and partner with business and technical teams throughout requirements, testing, release, and support activities.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain ERP application code, interfaces, and integration programs.
• Support daily ERP processing, production operations, and technical issue resolution.
• Implement approved system modifications, configurations, and technical enhancements.
• Design and maintain integrations between the ERP platform and other enterprise applications.
• Apply specialized ERP architecture and development-tool knowledge to troubleshoot issues and optimize performance.
• Coordinate technical activities for releases, upgrades, patches, and production deployments.
• Create and maintain technical specifications, interface documentation, support procedures, and release records.
• Collaborate with Business Systems Analysts, Business Analysts, QA professionals, vendors, and business users on requirements and testing.
• Support security, compliance, data governance, and technical control requirements within ERP environments.
• Provide technical consultation, production support, and knowledge transfer to business and technology partners.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least five years of relevant professional experience in ERP development, application development, or enterprise systems support.
• Strong technical knowledge related to ERP architecture, development tools, interfaces, and enterprise applications.
• Experience modifying, configuring, and supporting complex business systems.
• Experience developing or maintaining application integrations and interface programs.
• Knowledge of data governance concepts and responsible data handling practices.
• Ability to analyze data patterns, system behavior, and technical issues to support sound decision-making.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting a large-scale ERP implementation or modernization initiative.
• Experience working in a hybrid, multi-vendor, or public-sector environment.
