Enterprise Solutions Architect

The Enterprise Solutions Architect leads technical presales and solution architecture activities, translating customer business and technical requirements into scalable, secure, and commercially viable enterprise solutions. The role serves as a trusted advisor to customers and sales teams, provides technical leadership to System Engineers, supports business development opportunities, and oversees solution quality across Networking, Security, Data Center, Collaboration, and Cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and translate business and technical requirements into appropriate enterprise solution architectures.
• Design multi-technology solutions, with strong expertise in Networking and at least one additional domain such as Security, Data Center, Collaboration, or Cloud.
• Lead technical discovery, requirements scoping, architecture discussions, and customer site surveys.
• Prepare and review technical deliverables including BOMs, HLDs, SOWs, solution diagrams, technical write-ups, compliance sheets, bidding annexes, and technical proposals.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers, Account Managers, Sales teams, and other stakeholders.
• Present proposed solutions to both technical audiences and executive decision-makers, including CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, and CEOs.
• Support the full presales lifecycle, including solution briefings, technical workshops, demonstrations, Proofs of Concept (PoCs), RFP/RFI/RFQ responses, bid presentations, and technical validation.
• Collaborate with Sales and Account teams to identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities aligned with customer requirements.
• Lead, review, monitor, and validate solutions developed by other System Engineers to ensure technical accuracy, feasibility, quality, and alignment with customer needs.
• Mentor and develop System Engineers through technical coaching, solution reviews, knowledge sharing, training, and certification guidance.
• Collaborate with vendors, partners, Sales, Engineering, Project Management, and other internal teams to ensure successful solution development and handover.
• Maintain strong knowledge of the company's products, solutions, vendor technologies, and service offerings.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, cybersecurity developments, cloud adoption, and enterprise IT challenges to provide strategic recommendations.
• Complete required company and vendor training, development programs, and professional certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Solution Consulting, Technical Presales, Solutions Engineering, Enterprise IT Infrastructure, or Strategic Technical Advisory.
• Strong technical background in Enterprise Networking, preferably with Cisco CCNP/CCIE or equivalent expertise.
• Strong knowledge of at least one additional technology area:
• Security: Fortinet, Check Point, Cato Networks, CompTIA, ISC2, or related technologies/certifications
• Data Center: VMware, Nutanix, Dell Technologies, HPE, or related platforms
• Cloud: Microsoft Azure, AWS, or equivalent cloud platforms
• Collaboration: Unified Communications, video conferencing, contact center, or enterprise collaboration technologies
• Preferably holds at least one professional-level or higher IT certification.
• Demonstrated experience designing, presenting, and supporting complex enterprise or multi-vendor solutions.
• Strong experience communicating with both technical stakeholders and senior executives.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication and presentation skills.
• Strong business acumen, consultative skills, problem-solving capability, and stakeholder management.
• Able to provide technical leadership, mentoring, and solution governance to other engineers.

Ideal Candidate Profile

A senior technical presales professional or Solutions Architect who combines strong hands-on knowledge of enterprise networking with expertise in Security, Data Center, Cloud, or Collaboration. The ideal candidate can independently handle complex customer requirements, architect solutions, develop technical proposals, conduct executive presentations and PoCs, support strategic sales opportunities, and mentor other technical engineers.
