Entity Accountant

Role: Manage General Ledger Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Statutory Compliance for EMEA/APR entities while ensuring adherence to US GAAP, local GAAP, and financial control standards.

• Handles month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including financial reporting and account reconciliations.
• Prepares statutory financial statements and coordinates with auditors to ensure compliance and reporting accuracy.
• Supports finance transformation, process improvements, and automation initiatives while maintaining strong financial controls.

Educational Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance); CPA, CA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification preferred.

Role & responsibilities

Job Responsibilities: • Manage full sets of accounts in accordance with US GAAP and applicable local GAAP. • Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, including conducting quality reviews. • Prepare and ensure the accuracy of statutory financial reports. • Coordinate and liaise with external parties such as auditors as required. • Ensure compliance to US GAAP, local GAAP and related international accounting standards. • Support organizational strategic initiatives within the organization. • Ability to work independently and under time constraints, to a high level of accuracy. • Undertake any other tasks and responsibilities as required. • Adhere to relevant quality, environmental, health, and safety management system requirements. Functional Skills and capabilities: • Fluent in English both written and spoken. • Has a "can-do" attitude, pro-active, flexible mind-set • High level of accounting knowledge • Working knowledge of key systems (SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI etc.) is essential. • Is able to work in a dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines. • Good interpersonal and communication skills • Possess analytical and problem-solving skills. • Able to make sound and independent judgements.
