The opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Entra Architect to join our North American Access Management Services team. In this role, you will bring deep technical expertise in Microsoft's Entra ID ecosystem, helping customers design, implement and optimise modern identity and access management solutions.

You will work across the technical implementation of Microsoft Entra ID capabilities, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), identity lifecycle management and identity governance. You will translate customer requirements into secure, scalable and maintainable solutions, ensuring that identity services support both business objectives and security requirements.

What you will be doing

• Design and implement Microsoft Entra ID solutions that meet customer security, operational and business requirements.
• Lead or contribute to the technical implementation of SSO, MFA, identity lifecycle management and identity governance capabilities.
• Develop and refine identity architectures, configurations and implementation approaches in line with security best practices.
• Work with customers to understand their existing identity environments, identify gaps and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
• Translate business and technical requirements into practical implementation plans and architectural designs.
• Collaborate with consultants, engineers, project teams and customer stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and support throughout implementation, testing, troubleshooting and optimisation.
• Help customers improve their identity security posture through effective access controls and modern identity capabilities.
• Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge sharing and the continuous development of Xalient's Access Management services.

What you will bring

• Hands-on experience implementing Microsoft's Entra ID stack in enterprise environments.
• Strong technical knowledge of identity and access management, particularly SSO, MFA, identity lifecycle management and identity governance.
• The ability to translate complex technical requirements into secure, scalable and practical solutions.
• Experience troubleshooting identity integrations and resolving complex implementation challenges.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers and technical delivery teams.
• A collaborative, consultative mindset and the ability to take ownership of technical outcomes.

Desirable experience and qualifications

• Previous experience in a consulting or professional services environment.
• Microsoft Entra ID certifications.
• Experience with other Identity Providers, such as Okta or Ping Identity, including relevant vendor certifications.
• Experience with Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) platforms, such as ForgeRock/Ping Advanced Identity Cloud, Okta Customer Identity Cloud (CIC), Auth0 or Microsoft Entra External ID.
• CISSP certification.
