Entry-Level Accountant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join a growing finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates and early-career accounting professionals to gain hands-on experience across accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, month-end close activities, and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate is eager to learn, highly organized, and possesses a solid understanding of accounting principles. This position provides valuable exposure to a variety of accounting functions within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments.
• Generate and submit customer invoices through email and online portals.
• Follow up on outstanding invoices and assist with collections efforts.
• Communicate with customers and vendors to reconcile account statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Set up and maintain customer and vendor accounts, including credit reviews and required documentation.
• Maintain accurate vendor and customer records, including W-9 documentation.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals and journal entries.
• Collect and reconcile corporate credit card receipts and follow up on missing documentation.
• Review, code, and process accounts payable invoices for approval.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing, purchasing, and payment-related issues.
• Support annual audit activities by gathering required financial information and documentation.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Recent graduates and candidates with 0-3 years of accounting experience are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to review and interpret financial reports.
