Entry Level Accountant

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of individual, partnership, S corporation, and corporate tax returns under supervision.
• Communicate with clients to gather financial data, tax documents, and clarify missing or incomplete information.
• Accurately input financial data into tax software and maintain organized client files.
• Perform general administrative support, including scanning, filing, appointment scheduling, and managing deadlines.
• Conduct basic tax research to resolve issues or clarify tax treatments, using IRS publications and tax software tools.
• Handle sensitive client information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

• Education: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Language Requirement: Proficiency in both Chinese/Mandarin and English is required to effectively communicate with our diverse client base.
• Teamwork and Initiative: Must be able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating strong self-motivation and independence.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
